  • Body Text: "בשנת 1991, כשהייתי במקלאוד גאנג' (דרמסלה) שבהודו, חליתי בשיעול כרוני והרגשתי תחושת מחנק. בחיפושי אחר עזרה רפואית, זכיתי לפגוש רופא טיבטי בעל הבנה עמוקה של גוף האדם. מעבר למחסומי השפה, הוא העניק לי טיפול אינטואיטיבי והוליסטי ועזר לי לרפא את עצמי. החוויה הטרנספורמטיבית הזו הציתה את התשוקה שלי לריפוי טבעי והניחה את היסודות לעשייה המקצועית שלי."

Meet your Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Hey! I'm Orna Ohana

Born in Israel , I've embarked on a remarkable voyage through the realm of Chinese Medicine, accumulating over 27 years of invaluable experience. This path was ignited by a personal turning point during a visit to India, a moment that shaped the trajectory of my career and deepened my commitment to holistic healing.

A Personal Turning Point: The Catalyst for My Journey

In 1991, when I was in McLeod Ganj (Dharamshsla) India, I became ill with a chronic cough and felt like I was suffocating. Seeking medical help, I was blessed to meet a Tibetan doctor, with a profound understanding of the human body. Transcending language barriers, he provided intuitive, holistic care and helped me heal myself. This transformative experience sparked my passion for natural healing and set the stage for my future endeavors.

Global Perspectives and Continuous Learnings

After this pivotal moment, my quest for knowledge led me to the American Institute of Oriental Medicine . Later, I moved to the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. In 1996, I graduated from this prestigious institution, as a certified Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner.

A Journey of Healing and Teaching

My journey took me to South Korea, where I established my first clinic, providing acupuncture treatments to foreigners. I also shared my insights through lectures on energy balancing to the SIWA Seoul International Women's Association. Upon returning to Israel in 1998, I began teaching Chinese Medicine, an endeavor that deepened my commitment to the field and my desire to share its benefits.

Dedication to Excellence

Since 1999, I've been associated with the Kupat Holim Leumit in Hod Ha'Sharon. My weekly sessions there, every Wednesday morning, allow me to make a positive impact, helping patients regain vitality and quality of life and reduce pain and strenghtne immunity. Additionally, I've contributed to patient care and rehabilitation in Beit Loewenstein rehabilitation in Ra'anana, Israel, and private clinic in Tel Mond. driven by the desire to contribute more to the advancement of Chinese Medicine.

A Holistic Vision: Treating Movement Disabilities and Beyond

My focus extends across a wide spectrum, from aiding accident victims in their recovery to addressing trauma, pain, and exhaustion. I specialize in treating movement disabilities, helping patients regain their vitality and quality of life. This holistic vision embodies my commitment to making a meaningful difference through the power of Chinese Medicine.

A Legacy of Healing

I have to acknowledge Dr. Yitian Ni, Richard Tan, Kiiko Matsumoto (whose method of "Hara" abdominal diagnosis I use), Jeffery Yuen and my teachers who were an inspiration sharing their very deep knowledge of Chinese medicine and lastly I would also like to acknowledge Micheal Chaw who practices Chigong.

Since 1999, I’ve been associated with the Kupat Holim Leumit in Hod Ha’Sharon. My weekly sessions there, every Wednesday morning, allow me to make a positive impact, helping patients regain vitality and quality of life and reduce pain and strenghtne immunity. Additionally, I’ve contributed to patient care and rehabilitation in Beit Loewenstein rehabilitation in Ra’anana, Israel, and private clinic in Tel Mond. driven by the desire to contribute more to the advancement of Chinese Medicine

The first time I saw Orna for acupuncture treatment for the osteoarthritis in my knees, I arrived at her office, limping with my left knee swollen to the size of a large grapefruit. The right one was only slightly less swollen. I had been teaching on my feet for nine consecutive hours. Orna was kind and welcoming. We proceeded with my very first acupuncture treatment. During it, I became so relaxed that I actually fell asleep. The pain had abated by the end. I went home, slept for twelve hours, and woke up with no pain. The swelling was gone. We have continued treatment, and I have not needed pain or anti-inflammation medications since. It has been a life-changing experience for me. When I refer other patients to Orna, I always tell them that I think of her as my angel.

I'm a big believer in acupuncture, but I always knew that the one who does the treatment really causes the big change! You have healing hands. I came to you with shingles, which is sores on the head and severe pain in addition to a strong itching sensation... Thanks to the treatment, the symptoms decreased a lot every week, and within three weeks of acupuncture and medication, the wounds and pain disappeared... it usually takes two months to get over it... so it's really amazing that it passed so quickly for me, God willing! I arrived at Orna about a week ago with another bout of terrible back pains that I have been suffering from for the last two months. I came after taking 10 days of Recoxia pills, which only helped a little. I couldn't bend forward or backward at all. The day after Orna's treatment, I experienced improvement in pain, and every day I felt better. After four days, I went for Ella's treatment again, this time with intense pain in the palm of my hand. I have been suffering from cartilage erosion between my thumb and finger for many years. This time I got shingles on the spot, and the palm swelled up, making it impossible to open and straighten my fingers; the pain went up to above the elbow. Na took care of my hand. She used different acupuncture points, and as if by magic, during the session, I opened my palm magnificently, and it felt like it fell into my hand. Various stabs and, like a magic wand, the acupuncture worked wonders, and my palm and fingers regained movement. While I had the needles, I felt gentle pulsations/pricks running through my body. Tonight I started taking the painkiller, at least to open the palm. Yesterday, I was treated again by Orna. I was almost numb, and the pain was audible, and today I still have some pain in my arm and back. Thank you
